Terms & conditions
Booking, payment, cancellation and participation terms for Fre Surf School lessons and camps, plus service-provider information under Spanish e-commerce law (LSSI-CE).
Service provider
The owner and provider of the service is Fre Surf School, a surf school located at Playa de Frexulfe (Frejulfe), Navia, Asturias (Spain). You can reach us by phone or WhatsApp at +34 634 516 540. [Legal name, tax ID (NIF) and registered address: to be completed by the owner]. This information is provided under Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) on information-society services and electronic commerce.
Bookings
Bookings are made online through our Lueira store, where up-to-date prices are shown, or directly with us by phone or WhatsApp at +34 634 516 540. A booking is confirmed once the store process is completed or confirmed on our side. We are open every day through the summer months.
Prices, VAT and payments
The price that applies is the one shown in the Lueira store at the time of booking and includes VAT (IVA) where applicable. Every lesson includes board, wetsuit and instruction from a qualified instructor. Payment is handled through the Lueira platform using the payment methods it offers.
Booking and payment on an external platform (Lueira)
Booking and payment are completed on the external Lueira store (fresurf.store.lueira.com), which acts as the e-commerce platform and applies its own terms, conditions and payment, delivery and privacy policies. By completing your purchase on Lueira you accept those conditions, and you will receive confirmation of your booking through the platform itself.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Surfing depends on the sea. If conditions are not safe or do not allow the lesson to go ahead, we reschedule it for another day at no cost. If you need to cancel or change your booking, contact us as soon as possible by WhatsApp or phone and we will find the best solution.
Right of withdrawal
Under Article 16(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Spanish consumer-protection law (TRLGDCU), leisure, sports and free-time services supplied on a specific date or period are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Accordingly, once a lesson or camp is booked for a specific date, there is generally no right of withdrawal. This does not affect your statutory rights if a service is not as described. Regardless of the above, we apply our sea-conditions rescheduling policy described above at no cost.
Participation requirements
To take part safely you must be able to swim. We adapt lessons to each person’s age and level; for kids lessons, message us to confirm the recommended minimum age for the level. Please follow the qualified instructor’s guidance at all times.
Responsibility and safety
Surfing takes place in the natural environment and carries an inherent risk; participants must disclose any relevant medical condition and act responsibly, following at all times the safety instructions given by the qualified instructor.
