Data controller

Data we process

We only process the data you give us when you contact us by phone or WhatsApp (your name, phone number and the content of your message) and the data needed to manage your booking. Bookings and payments are handled through the external Lueira store, which processes purchase data under its own privacy policy. This website does not include a form that stores data on our servers.

Purpose

We use your data to answer your enquiries, tell you about availability, arrange and confirm your lessons or camps, and keep the contact needed before and after the activity (for example, to let you know about changes due to sea conditions).

Legal basis

The legal basis is your consent when you contact us and the performance of the contract when you book a lesson. Where a legal obligation applies (for example, tax or accounting matters), the basis is compliance with that obligation.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or manage your booking and, afterwards, for the periods required by law (for example, tax obligations). Once it is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, message us on WhatsApp or call +34 634 516 540. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Third parties and processors

To manage bookings and payments we use the Lueira commerce platform, which acts as the booking-service provider and processes only the data strictly necessary to complete your purchase. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Cookies policy

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. On its own it only stores your consent choice in your browser (local storage), to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics; that value is not shared with third parties.

If you accept, we enable privacy-friendly analytics (Umami or Plausible, self-hosted and cookieless) that measure visits in an aggregated, anonymous way, without building profiles or identifying individuals. If analytics is not enabled, no third-party script is loaded at all. You can reject analytics without affecting how the site works, and change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

When you continue to booking or payment you go to the external Lueira store (fresurf.store.lueira.com), which applies its own cookies and privacy policies.

Accessibility

At Fre Surf School we want this website to be usable by as many people as possible. Our goal is to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), in line with the European Accessibility Act, taking care of colour contrast, keyboard navigation, alternative text for images and a clear semantic structure.

We work continuously to improve accessibility and some content may not yet fully meet level AA. If you come across an accessibility barrier or need content in another format, let us know on WhatsApp or by phone at +34 634 516 540 and we will help and fix it as soon as possible.
